Priate Of The Carribean 2:Dead Man's Chest
The movie carries on from the prequel, Turner (Bloom) and Swann (Knightly) are getting married but an order came for Turner and Swann as they are involved in the escaping of Sparrow (Depp) during the 1st movie. Turner is given a deal, by Lord Cutler Beckett of East India Trading Company, to get the compass from Sparrow and he will spare Swann and him from the gallows. As Turner is joining Sparrow in his misadventures, Swann escaped with the help of his father, and joined Sparrow & Turner to save themselves from the gallows.
With the addition of Bill Nighy as Davy Jones, who is after Sparrow for his debt to him, the whole story was boosted by his ability to summon a sea creature that resembles of a Giant Squid, a ship under his command called, The Flying Dutchman, that has superior speed and stealth and underwater ability and his distinctive squid-like face.
Given the honesty and credibility of Sparrow, you are really in for a surprise and funny treat from his actions. Depp had put so much life into this character that he is both serious and wacky at the same time. With certain scenes focusing on the creativity of Depp, it seems to entertain the young audiences. That maybe the aim of Depp as he mentioned he wanted an audience of 20s - 60s laughing and enjoying together in the theatre.
There are alot of pirates terms included in it and it's really alright not to understand all of them. The whole motion picture is entertaining enough.
What we can really look forward is the 3rd episode where Chow Yun-Fatt is the bad guy. Having shot back to back as mentioned earlier on, we can really expect it to be here soon.
There is an extra scene, at the end of the movie credits. This seems to be a increasing trend to do so, just like Matrix Reloaded, Xmen3, Constantine. I believe many others are going to be the same as well soon. The scene is not that important but just add a funny touch to it. You can give it a miss if you intend to get the DVD.
Note though, When Turner is talking to Beckett after being arrested, a ship is seen out on the ocean not moving. In the next shot the ship has disappeared.
Do enjoy and don't expect an ending there as there won't be due to part 3.
sorrow kills smile like how i kill u.
